We (Lisa and Laurie) are a full service pet sitting and dog walking business. We started Superhero Pet Sitting in 2019 as a way to combine several things we value- animals, the outdoors and being our own bosses. We've had clients both furred, feathered and scaled and enjoy meeting new and interesting species, pets and people.

DOG WALKING
Our dog walk visits start at 30 minutes in length and include meals. We cater the walk lengths to the dogs' needs given age/limitations and/or extreme weather.

CAT FRIENDS
We offer pet care for cats which includes feeding, litter box cleaning, pets and playing. These visits are generally 20 minutes, but can be extended per your needs.

If you have a fenced back yard we can come and let your dog out for a potty break and a little playtime.

We are fans of the many unique types of pets that people call family as well. We've cared for the winged, gilled, slant eyed and hard shelled and enjoy acquainting ourselves with new species.

VACATION OVERNIGHTS & VISITS
We offer overnight sleepovers at your home which include 3 visits a day (a.m., afternoon, p.m,) meals and administering medications. Due to allergies we can't stay in the homes of smokers. Return day visits will incur additional charges.

Not able to tend to the dog waste in the yard? We can clear out the old to make room for the new, better for the dogs and a healthier lawn.

POLICIES
Safety
The safety of your pets and your home are as important to us as our own bodily safety. Upon our first conversation with new clients we ask up front what behaviors each pet exhibits that may put the animal or ourselves in harms way. If it is deemed unsafe for us to service your pet we will have to turn down a client. We will work with an owner to try and remedy or remediate any unruly behavior because we want to be fair to everyone, but again, safety first. For this reason we do not walk dogs with retractable leashes. We carry 5ft. leads in our cars for these instances and ask that you understand this stipulation in advance.
Pricing
There are times when we may need to make additional charges as each situation can be different depending on distance, needs of pets, length of vacation overnights etc. We will discuss this with you in advance! We will be up front about quoting you a price, but we can not offer a sliding scale for clients. We can be semi flexible about hours of operation (8am-8pm), but visits several hours before or after these times incur a $5 extra charge. Holidays incur a $5 extra charge per visit.
Billing
Our clients can pay by cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, Square. Ourselves and our clients keep track of visits by our monthly sign in sheets which we ask be left in a permanent place in order to write in the times when we arrive.
We keep track of payments and invoices so you don't have to think about it and are happy to send emailed or hard copied invoices.
Scheduling
Our daily hours of service for walks, let outs etc. are 8:00am-8:00pm Mon-Sat, winter hours are 9:00am- 7:00pm. We understand that most people want their animals serviced between the prime hours of 11:00-3:00, but ask that clients understand their requested times may need to be approximated to fit our daily schedules. If a dog is crated or has potty issues we give those dogs priority timing.
